The Natural Education Reserve Advisory Committee meets quarterly at the Conservation District offices and makes recommendations to the Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation Commission about the 500-acre reserve, which is a county park. The board has two seats open for terms of three years from October 2019 to October 2022.

Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation-Senior Center Network is seeking proposals from vendors to provide the following services to the public at Civic Center Park, 1213 W. Civic Center Drive in Traverse City: “indoor” food and refreshment concessions inside the Civic Center facility (swimming and multi-purpose building), either year-round or between Labor Day and April 30, and “outdoor” food and refreshment concessions from the “Center Building,” located in northeast quadrant of property near the ball fields and skate park, between May and October each year.
Host your party, wedding, concert, fundraising event, or theater production at the newly refurbished Civic Center Park Amphitheater on a date yet this year between August 12 and September 30. The amphitheater is located just blocks from downtown Traverse City, nearby hotels, and Grand Traverse Bay.
